On Friday, March 18, the St. Vincent de Paul Auxiliary Board hosted its first annual Ladies’ Boutique, Luncheon & Fashion Show featuring Trina Turk. Our sold-out event was attended by 225 amazing women and was hosted at the Meadow Club. Event sponsors included Melissa Ferst of International Orange, Isobel Wiener of Sotheby’s Real Estate, Soraya Aughney of CPA Valet, Darcy Tarantino, proprietor of A Girl and Her Board, Jardesca, and Oakmont of San Rafael.
Our boutique featured an array of fabulous vendors, all of whom donated 25% of their sales from the event to SVdP in support of Vinnies’ programs and services feeding the hungry and housing the homeless.
Mary Sackett, candidate for Marin County Supervisor, fearlessly led our Fund-A-Need campaign at the event. We exceeded our goal to raise $50,000 to match another grant to end Veteran homelessness in Marin. Together, we raised over $100,000.
