What is available from our Free Dining Room?
At mealtime, our friendly volunteers will let you choose what food you’d like on your plate from the serving line. You may go back through the line for additional helpings as many times as you would like. You can also get a “to-go” box or bag lunch for a meal that you can take with you. You are welcome to take produce, bread and other surplus food items from the shelves.
What details do I need to know?
Our Free Dining Room is open every day of the year from 6:30 am – 1:00 pm! Our location is 820 B Street in downtown San Rafael, between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Breakfast is served until 10:00 when it is cleared to make way for our hot midday meal from 11-1pm. Remember you can go back for “seconds” or request a “to go” meal. Please clear your tray when you are finished, so that others can sit down. We hope you will enjoy your meal.
What if I have questions or need more help?
Any staff person wearing a blue apron should be able to help you with questions, special needs or give you information about how you might get additional help.
