Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and held prior leadership roles for the County of Marin and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). In addition to her Social Services and Public Health experience, Jennifer also served as the Mass Care/Emergency Assistance Director during several of Marin’s emergencies including fires, atmospheric river events and public safety power shutoff (PSPS) events. During the COVID Public Health emergency, Jennifer led the County’s Project Roomkey and Isolation/Quarantine pandemic sheltering response as well as the mobilization of food and disaster financial resources to the most disproportionately impacted communities in Marin.
In November 2023, Jennifer was a guest lecturer at Touro University’s Master’s of Public Health program and is a member of her local Community Development Block Grant committee, advising City Council on housing initiatives for low and moderate income households.
